Blends are mixtures of quartz, granite and marble aggregates combined with Vuba Resin Binder. The different sizes knit together and compact — the compaction is what delivers the durability needed for vehicle traffic.
As a resin-bound overlay on a sound base, around £60–80/m². Where excavation and a new permeable base are required, the full system is approximately £120–160/m². Location, edging and borders affect the final price.
Resin-encapsulated stone holds far less dirt than paving or concrete. The surface can be jet-washed, and with a permeable base the water simply drains away.
The surface can freeze and thaw hundreds of times without any loss of strength. Permeable pores run through the whole system, so frost and ice are pushed out rather than trapped — one of the system’s biggest advantages.
